Practical, Confidential Support for Life’s Demands

Hello, I am a graduate of Texas A&M University and a licensed therapist with over 20 years of experience helping adults navigate life’s most difficult challenges. I am a mother of five children, along with two bonus children, and I share my home with several beloved pets. In my free time, I enjoy reading, camping, gardening, hiking, spending time in nature, and being with my family. These experiences keep me grounded and reflect the deep value I place on connection, resilience, and balance.

Professionally, I have worked with individuals across a wide spectrum of needs — from those living with severe and persistent mental health conditions to high-functioning individuals facing anxiety, burnout, trauma, relationship stress, or major life transitions. My background spans community mental health, hospital settings, correctional facilities, and private practice, allowing me to support clients from diverse walks of life with compassion, practical insight, and clinical skill.

When you meet with me, you can expect genuine compassion, deep experience, and a steady, nonjudgmental presence. Care is thoughtful, personalized, and grounded in evidence-based approaches, with a focus on helping you feel understood, supported, and confident as you work toward meaningful change.

Seeking therapy is deeply personal. You deserve a therapist who is not only clinically skilled, but also respectful, authentic, and truly invested in your well-being. My approach integrates proven therapeutic methods with warmth, empathy, and practical guidance tailored to your unique circumstances.

My Approach to Therapy

I believe therapy should feel both safe and effective. Many clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or stuck — often after carrying heavy responsibilities on their own for a long time. Together, we work to understand what is happening beneath the surface and develop realistic strategies for relief, stability, and lasting growth.

My style is:

✔ Compassionate and nonjudgmental
✔ Collaborative and respectful
✔ Practical and goal-oriented
✔ Trauma-informed
✔ Focused on meaningful progress

You are the expert on your life. My role is to provide tools, insight, and support to help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and emotional stability

Areas of Focus

I frequently work with adults experiencing:

• Anxiety, panic, and chronic stress
• Depression and loss of motivation
• Trauma and PTSD
• Relationship distress
• Grief and loss
• Work stress and burnout
• Life transitions and major changes
• Emotional overwhelm despite outward success

Many of my clients appear “high functioning” on the outside while struggling internally. Therapy provides a confidential, supportive space to address what others may not see and to regain a sense of balance, direction, and relief.
